The Australian Open is back in Melbourne and it’s time to get around some of the best tennis the world has to offer and we have the details around what’s happening this year at the Australian Open.

The Australian Open is the first Grand Slam of the tennis season and is held every January at Melbourne Park in Victoria. It was established back in 1905, meaning it’ll be it’s 121st year when the games commence this week.

The Australian Open arrives at Melbourne Park on the 12th of January, with the first day session beginning at 11:00am local time. Night sessions are from 7:00pm, with the very last session of play concluding on the 1st of February so you’ll have 18-days of tennis to enjoy! The Australian Open will host games that include singles of both genders, doubles, exhibitions, and charity matches.

The last mens singles final will be played at Rod Laver Arena and is usually one of the highest watched games in Australia in the tennis calendar year.
