Yorke Peninsula Council’s YorKON Games Convention will return in 2024 after the event exceeded attendance expectations last month.
The free event at Maitland Town hall, provided a fun and social gaming experience with freeplay computer, retro and arcade games, workshops, table top games, and a costume competition.
Attendees were also able to participate in new interactive activities, such as a self-guided Minecraft-themed orienteering activity and building and playing jumbo-sized Minecraft scenes.
Mayor Darren Braund expressed his gratitude for the community’s support and excitement for the event’s return in 2024.
