A 32-year-old Whyalla man has been arrested following police investigations into an incident involving a 3D-printed firearm.
Police allege a Ford sedan failed to stop for patrols on two occasions before being located in a local backyard last week.
A search of the car allegedly uncovered a 3D printed firearm and ammunition.
The man was charged with various offences, including driving disqualified, possessing a prohibited weapon and ammunition.
He was refused bail and fronted the Whyalla Magistrates Court on Monday.
A local woman and two men were also reported for failing to truthfully answer police questions. They are expected to face court at a later date.
The arrests come after the State Government launched a new bill last week cracking down on the production of 3D printed firearms.
