St. Kilda player and former Redhill local Jack Hayes has suffered a major setback in his rehabilitation from a foot injury, as scans have revealed a significant strain to his left hamstring. This injury will keep him out of action for a minimum of eight weeks.
Acting General Manager of Football, David Misson, expressed disappointment about the news and acknowledged the hard work that Jack has put in to overcome a series of long-term injuries. Despite the setback, Misson expressed confidence in Jack’s professionalism and determination in his recovery efforts.
However, St Kilda’s forward line can expect a boost in the near future, as their key forward Max King is set to return to full contact training this week after recovering from a hamstring injury.
