Senior Community Constable Shirreen Jackson from Port Augusta has been honoured as the Female Elder of the Year in the Port Augusta NAIDOC Awards.
The award recognizes her outstanding contributions to the community and her work as a positive role model.
Shirreen was nominated by the Port Augusta Community for her dedicated work as a Community Constable, particularly for her efforts in working with the youth in Port Augusta.

Having served as a Senior Community Constable for 10 years, she is currently based at Port Augusta Police Station.
