Orroroo Without Fuel for Over a Week Amid Leak Investigation

For more than a week, the town of Orroroo in the Mid North has been without fuel.

It was originally reported that the local service station, Pro Motors, had no fuel supply for the long weekend, which has now continued throughout last week.

The Environment Protection Authority is warning of a possible leak at the station, with the tank to remain empty while investigations continue.

The EPA told the ABC it was “liasing with the licensee in relation to the situation”.

The nearest petrol station is 40km away in Peterborough.
