Divers and snorkelers on the Yorke Peninsula will soon have better access to the underwater treasures at Edithburgh Jetty.

Considered one of South Australia’s best diving destinations, the structure will benefit from $550,000 in funding from the Australian Government’s Growing Regions Program – with a further $10,000 coming from the Edithburgh Progress Association.

The dive stairs project will involve the installation of access stairs on the north side of the jetty, and platforms at different heights to allow easy access regardless of tides.
