Local growers to control mice early

Local grain growers are being asked to check their paddocks for mice as part of a campaign aimed at early detection and effective control.

If left unchecked, a mouse population can quickly escalate, resulting in crop loss, reduced yields, and damage to irrigation systems.

Ahead of this year’s winter crop, growers can monitor and log mouse activity on the MouseAlert website.
