As the summer season approaches, land managers across the Barunga Wes Council Area are being asked to be proactive in the fight against African boxthorn.
The highly invasive weed has been spreading along the Tickera’s fragile coastline.
This thorny invader of coastlines crowds out native plants, which birds, lizards and insects need to survive.
