Childcare in the Spencer Gulf continues to be an ongoing discussion.
In a speech in State Parliament Flinders MP Sam Telfer says aged care facilities and hospitals in regional communities are having to resort to filling jobs from people outside the community, simply because qualified local workers can’t access proper childcare.
He says that reality is affecting the economic potential of some regional townships.
