Former Balaklava local Tayla Williams has been selected as one of 10 Australian netballers to compete in the FAST5 Netball World Series in New Zealand on November 11 and 12.
Williams, who will represent Australia for the first time, expressed her excitement about the opportunity to play in a different format of the game alongside Thunderbirds teammates.
FAST5 netball is known for its pace and intensity, featuring shortened quarters and rolling substitutions.

Australia will face international competitors, and under the guidance of coach Nicole Richardson, Williams is aiming to make the most of the unique opportunity.
