A firearm allegedly used in a home invasion in Port Augusta in February has been uncovered, detectives finding it last Thursday, 18 April.
It’s alleged that on 13 February, two armed men broke into the home and stole items, including the victim’s Toyota Hilux, which was recovered the next day.
The two suspects, aged 26 and 32, were arrested by police within days of the break-in and are now before the courts.

The firearm – found at a Port Augusta address – joins a machete and tomahawk already uncovered by police, marking the recovery of all weapons allegedly used in the incident.
