The cost of the scrapped nuclear waste facility just outside Kimba from July 2014 to August this year has been revealed as 108.6 million dollars.
The facility was dumped after the Federal Court ruled in favour of the Barngarla Determination Aboriginal Corporation who say they weren’t included in the site’s consultation process.
SA Labor Senator DON FARRELL says once the government considers its options for the next step, it’ll release information on a new site and expenditure.
