The Port Davis Boat Ramp is now open, ready for commercial and recreational fishers to enjoy improved boat launching facilities.
The new two-lane boat ramp with a pontoon system and sealed carpark was jointly funded by an SA Boating Facilities Grant, which contributed $1,230,059, and the Port Pirie Council, who contributed $300,000.
Although the structure is open to the public, there are still some minor works to undertake, including light installation on the pontoon, line marking, wheel stops, rock souring and a general tidy-up.
