It was a big weekend of local footy.

On the YP, round 7 saw a match-up between CMS and Kadina with the Crows getting the win, 108 to 68.

Moonta defeated Ardrossan, 95 to 48, Wallaroo went down to Central Yorke 36 to 65 and the Souther Eagles polished off Bute 112 to 45.

And in round 7 of the SGL, PropRisdon handily defeated West Augusta 157 to 41.

Sollies got over Port 108 to 67 and Central won by 25 points against South 78 to 53, leaving South at the bottom of the ladder and having won just one game so far this season.

In the NEFL, The Souther Saints got over South Clare, 100 to 53, North Clare had a good day out defeating Blyth-Snowtown, 105 to 67, RSMU beat BBH by 66 points, 117 to 51 and BSR got the points with their win over MinMan 74 to 36.

In Whyalla, Weeroona Bay had a shocker on Friday night scoring just 3 points for the whole game — Roopena booted through 20 goals to win by 132.

On Saturday, West defeated South 73 to 48, and there was another blow out – Central defeated North 174 to 29.

And over in the Northern Areas, BMW defeated Broughton-Mundoora 92 to 80.

Orroroo got the points against Southern Flinders, with a 100 to 58 win, and Crystal Brook made short work of Jamestown-Peterborough with an 82-point win, 110 to 28.
