A drink driver will appear in court after he allegedly sustained a wheel spin in his car in Port Pirie.
On Friday patrols spotted a car being driven on Senate Road at Port Pirie West when the driver conducted a sustained wheel spin.
Checks revealed he did not hold a current driver’s licence and the vehicle was unregistered.

The man submitted to a breath test where he provided a positive result of 0.244 – nearly five times over the legal limit.
The 42-year-old local man was reported for drink driving among others.
He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
