SGL – Prop/Risdon showed their dominance and lead all day to get the best of Solomontown.
WFL – West Whyalla came from nowhere to upset Central Whyalla’s push for 4 grand finals in a row.
NAFA – In what was a neck-and-neck game all day, with only a point in it at 3 quarter time, Orroroo managed to defy the odds and beat BMW by just a goal. Just BMW’s second loss for the year.
YPFL – and the third and final upset of the afternoon, flag favourites Moonta let it slip through their fingers through inaccurate kicking on goal leaving Kadina the YPFL premiers for 2023. The Bloods steamrolled Moonta in the second half, kicking 9 goals to just 2.
Between WFL, NAFA and YPFL, all three clubs that were expected to win based on their performance throughout the season all lost.
