Giant Pumpkin & Sunflower Competition

The Spalding War Memorial Committee Inc. was created to bring people together through a simple, inclusive activity — growing something from a seed.

Seeds have been distributed throughout South Australia and across Australia, reaching families, schools, community groups and first-time gardeners alike. Participants grow their entries at home and bring them together for judging and celebration on event day in Spalding.

The competition is designed to be:
