It’s almost time to fire up the TV, grab the snacks and settle in for one of Australia’s biggest sporting events.
The Bathurst 1000 is back this weekend, with Supercars taking on the legendary Mount Panorama circuit for 1,000 kilometres of racing, drama and probably a few very tense moments.
If you’re planning on watching, here’s everything you need to know.
When Is The Bathurst 1000?

But the action starts well before that, with qualifying on Friday and the all-important Top 10 Shootout from 5:05pm on Saturday.
So, yes, you have a perfectly valid excuse to ignore your weekend chores.
How Can You Watch?
The Bathurst 1000 will be broadcast live and free on Seven and 7plus.
You can also catch the race on Foxtel and Kayo, with coverage starting from 7am Sunday before the big race gets underway at 11:30am.
And What About The Weather?
The forecast could add another element to the weekend, with showers possible around Mount Panorama.
And we all know what that means… things could get VERY interesting.
So grab the snacks, pick your driver and get ready for the Great Race!
