Road maintenance in the Flinders Ranges is set for a major upgrade, with the Council purchasing a new Caterpillar 140 grader.
The addition will allow faster response times and better quality work across the region’s 1,400 kilometres of roads and joins the Council’s existing grader.
Mayor Ken Anderson said it’s a big investment for the small community, aimed at improving reliability and long-term value.

A competition to name the two graders has been launched – send your suggestions to the Council before next Wednesday, 5 November.
