Yorke Mid North police are alerting businesses to a rise in counterfeit $100 and $50 notes, after multiple reports across the region.
Fake notes have been used in multiple locations between August 21 and September 12, prompting calls for extra vigilance.
Police recommend comparing any suspicious notes with a genuine one and reporting incidents to the Police Assistance Line on 131 444.
