A Far North man has lost his licence after he allegedly blew more than five times the legal limit near Coober Pedy.
Police pulled over the man’s car for a breath test on Crowders Gully in the early hours of Monday morning, with the driver allegedly blowing 0.252.
It is further alleged he recorded a positive result for cannabis and was driving whilst disqualified.
The 39-year-old was reported for drink driving and driving disqualified.
He was also issued with a further 12-month loss of licence notice and his car was impounded for 28 days.
He will front court at a later date and may face further drug driving charges pending results of a forensic analysis.
