Royal Wedding details revealed!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry - Sandringham 25/12/17

It's one of the most anticipated events of the year - now more details about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding have been announced!

The couple have confirmed they will be interacting with the public and venturing around the streets in a horse-drawn carriage after the wedding ceremony at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle on Saturday May 19th (midday).

Kensington Palace released a statement saying, “Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle are hugely grateful for the many good wishes they have received since announcing their engagement. They are very much looking forward to the day and to being able to share their celebrations with the public.

"They hope this short journey will provide an opportunity for more people to come together around Windsor and to enjoy the atmosphere of this special day."

The couple are then are expected to hold a reception for 800 people at St George's Hall after their nuptials, and it is being reported that Prince Charles will host an after-party in the evening.

“Later that evening, The Prince of Wales will give a private evening reception for the couple and their close friends and family,’’ Kensington Palace confirmed.
