A 9-year-old boy and a woman aged in her twenties are recovering at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital after they were attacked by a pack of dingoes at Fraser Island.

The aeromedical crew worked alongside paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) to stabilise the pair, believed to be French tourists, before flying them to hospital.

It comes after a six-year-old boy was bitten multiple times by a dingo on Fraser Island in January.

He was bitten on the lower leg while returning to his campsite with his family at Eurong.

It is believed he had been running up a sand dune before the attack.

The attacks come after Prince Harry and wife Meghan visited the island in October 2018.
