A man accused of lighting a grass fire during the recent bushfire crisis in central Queensland has had his case briefly mentioned in court.
Caszuo Wesley Selwyn Dennis Conlon, 27, did not appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Monday, when his lawyer applied for the matter to be adjourned until Tuesday.
Conlon, who remains in custody, is facing a single charge of setting fire to crops after a grass fire was lit beside the Burnett Highway at Bouldercombe on Sunday.
