Future of Australia get their hands on the future of technology

Circuit generic.jpgPrimary school children in Port Augusta, have been getting to grips with new technology as part of a new, on going digital workshop.
The on-going workshops, are part of the Telstra Foundation’s $500,000 annual commitment, to boost technology and digital abilities in young people living in regional areas.
As part of the Telstra Kids Fund Digital Futures Program, ‘two maker party in a box’, digital packages, each worth $20,000 have been gifted to the Port Augusta public library- to give children hands on experience with technology
Telstra Area General Manager for SA Mark Bolton said the gifts to Port Augusta Council and library were about helping primary school students with their understanding of circuits and digitization.
