Mark Saturday, August 13 down in your calendars, because the Crystal Brook Show is set to return for the first time since before Covid.

Organisers have announced this year’s show will be bigger and better than ever, and it comes after the 2020 and 2021 shows were both cancelled due to Covid restrictions.

As part of the event's triumphant return Mid-North local and star marathon runner, Jess Stenson, will head to Crystal Brook to act as the opening speaker.

Jess was recently confirmed as one of the athletes chosen to represent Australia in England at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, where she will run in the marathon on July 30 before returning to Australia and appearing at the Crystal Brook Show little over a week later.

Other highlights of the show this year include the return of the Celtic Games, sheep dog demonstrations, and a petting zoo.

As well as other special appearances from Lego Masters Trent and Josh, who will host a Lego-building competition, and the live music lineup includes the Clare Valley Concert Band and The Jukebox Boys from Port Pirie.
