Early this week a Clare Valley winery was hit by a cyber attack, incapacitating the business for most of Monday.
Taylor's Wines was locked out of their email system and computers, disrupting record keeping during the current vintage period.
While an IT team did manage to restore their computers by the end of the day, Managing Director of Taylor's Wines, Mitchell Taylor, says they have no clue why they were targeted.
"We don't have any idea, and there wasn't any ransom demands or anything like that, so we're quite surprised a company like ours would be hit by a cyber attack," said Mr Taylor.
