In Port Hughes, The Copper Coast Council has advised dredging works will be commencing from Today until Friday 5 March - weather permitting.
This is following the Boat Ramp upgrade in 2017.
The works are being carried out in an effort to give boat users easier access to the water.
The Council is working with the Environment Protection Authority on the matter.
Copper Coast Council advises the boat ramp will remain open as usual but to be mindful as there may be delays in accessing the ramp, they are committed to minimising the impact on users.
