Events Cancelled Across the Region

Following a spike in the number of active COVID cases in South Australia, many events across the Spencer Gulf and Mid North have been postponed or cancelled in an effort to keep our communities safe.

In the Mid North, the Solomontown White Ribbon Breakfast at Solomontown Primary School has been cancelled, along with Port Pirie’s iconic Picnic in the Park that was set to take place at Memorial Park.

In the Clare Valley the Taminga Hotel Clare Cup will no longer go ahead, as well as the region’s remaining 2020 NAIDOC celebrations. The second series of Drought Resilience Workshops have also been rescheduled, with further information to be provided.

In Port Augusta a range of Council services will now operate at a reduced capacity with the Australian Arid Lands Botanical Gardens Visitor Centre, Ryan Mitchell Swim Centre and the Public Library all making adjustments to existing programs and opening hours.
