Spencer Gulf Searoad have confirmed that their car and passenger ferry has arrived in South Australia.
After a smooth journey from Columbia, the ferry is currently getting a well needed tune up and ‘COVID Clean’ in Adelaide, before heading to Wallaroo to be begin operation.
Manager of Spencer Gulf Searoad Sue Cassidy has not confirmed a date for when the ferry will arrive on the Yorke Peninsula but the ferry is expected to be operational in matter of weeks.
When asked what we can expect upon the ferry’s arrival, Sue had this to say, “We will be running the service back over to Lucky Bay on the Eyre Peninsula. We hope to see all our old customers and some new customers come along to enjoy the trip.”
