Second Person Charged Over Drug Raid at Port Pirie

A second man has been arrested and charged for drug offences following the search of a home in Port Pirie this month.

Port Pirie Police searched a home in Gordon Street and allegedly located approximately 10 grams of methamphetamine, 4 grams of MDMA, a medieval style mace and over 100 items of Jewellery suspected of being stolen.

At that time police arrested a 36-year-old man from Risdon Park and charged him with trafficking in a controlled drug, possessing a prohibited weapon and unlawful possession. 

Following the ongoing investigation, police arrested a Port Pirie South man yesterday.

He was charged with trafficking in a controlled drug and breach of bail. He was refused police bail and appeared in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court yesterday.
