Port Augusta’s UniHub Offer’s Study Options

Regional South Australian Year 12 students who have recently received their ATAR results, are set to benefit from the opening of the Port Augusta Unihub campus in 2020, which follows the opening of the Port Pirie campus earlier this year.

Uni Hub Spencer Gulf provides a convenient study option for regional students looking to commence their tertiary education next year, with Bachelor courses such as Psychology, Education, Social Work, Nursing and a Master’s in Education all on offer. A Bachelor of Business will also be available from next year.

Port Pirie Uni Hub coordinator Kim Gregory reminds students, “No matter what their results are this week, they should feel proud of their journey and of all the hard work they have put in to make it to this point.”

“It’s important to remember that their results do not define them. And if they don’t get the ATAR they need to get straight into the course they want, there are always alternative pathways towards their dream career.”

Ms Gregory said she was available to work with students and their families who were looking for local university study options.

Approximately 70 students are registered with the Uni Hub, with this number expected to increase in 2020 with the opening of the Port Augusta campus.
