A $10,000 project involving Port Pirie Regional Council and Crystal Brook Kindergarten has captured the communities’ heart.
The Footpath Project ‘Bringing Our Learners Together’ was proposed by five-year-old Emily Noonan and aims to bring aged care residents and kindergarten children together.
After fortnightly visits, the kindergarten has forged a strong connection with Roseview aged care residents.
The Roseview residents wish to return the favour to visit the kindergarten, with the help of the newly completed and improved footpath, which now provides easy access between the two facilities.
