The Clare & Gilbert Valleys Council have shown their support for the world-renowned project ‘The Adelaide Wine Capital Cycle Project’ linking the key wine regions of South Australia.
The proposed project aims to capitalise on existing trail network infrastructure, expanding that network to strategically link tourism businesses while supporting the development of new tourism experiences.
A collaboration of 10 regional councils has been formed, each contributing over $12,00 towards developing a business case to bring the proposed project to life.
At a recent October meeting Clare and Gilbert Valley councillors agreed to commit a further $10,000 towards the collective pool of funds.
The trail is expected to bring widespread community benefit if the project comes to fruition.
