The Spencer Gulf and Yorke Peninsula’s 150 artificial reefs have been identified as potential aquaculture hotspots.
In new research several groups, including the university of Adelaide collaborated on the study which aims to assist governments, organizations and investors on where to launch new aquaculture projects.
The findings were based on environmental, socioeconomic and human health considerations.
It’s hoped the report will lead to future investment in aquaculture projects for theSpencer Gulf and Yorke Peninsula.
