Port Augusta's Arid Lands Botanic Gardens will host Nature Play SA's newest Festival these school holidays.
With a quarter of Aussie kids overweight and 70% of children aged 2 to 17 not meeting physical activity guidelines, the organisation aims to empower parents, educators & the community on how to integrate ‘Nature Play’ into the lives of little ones.
The Festival runs across South Australia with 120 events taking place and 46 organisations involved.
The Arid Lands event will feature an enclosed garden and big red sandpit where kids can build, climb, explore and play.
Due to the alarming statistics Nature Play SA CEO Sarah Sutter believes that now more than ever before, the company’s vision is to inspire South Australian communities is crucial.
