The Yorke Peninsula will benefit from the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure’s state-wide ‘Jetties Strategic Plan’.
The strategy will review existing jetty infrastructures, including those at Moonta, Wallaroo, Port Broughton, Port Pirie and Port Germain.
A long-term management plan will be created in an effort to guide future infrastructure investment decisions.
The Strategic Plan aims to maximise benefits to local communities and businesses by channelling funds to priority areas.
Ongoing jetty safety, management and maintenance will also be considered during the assessment period.
DPTI are seeking submissions of opinion from members of the public, local government and stakeholders through ‘Your Say’.
Survey closes Friday 1 November 2019
