The Port Pirie Regional Library Service is providing a range of free ‘Tech Savvy Seniors SA’ training for local seniors.
Members of the community over the age of 60 are encouraged to take part in the sessions, where participants can expect to improve their digital and technological knowledge.
The workshops will demonstrate how to use tablets, computers and mobile devices, allowing participants to navigate the internet safely, while accessing internet banking and connecting with family and friends online.
The library’s session’s have already assisted over 4,000 seniors; 83% of which felt more confident using various digital devices after attending the event.
Monday the 30th of September is the next session which will cover: How to create a Gmail Account.
Workshop sessions will be held at the Port Pirie Regional Library, located at 3 Wandearah Road, Port Pirie during October and November 2019.
