Last week Whyalla Mayor Clare McLaughlin, raised key local issues with Premier Steven Marshall and five of his ministers.
With multiple high school sites in Whyalla set to become obsolete once the new 100 million-dollar school is completed, McLaughlin has requested clarification on the Governments intentions for the sites.
She has also called the state to fund a study in how best to use the buildings in benefit of the city.
A tri-party government funding package, was also requested at the meeting.
The funding would allow the council to support the economic development of the city.
All submissions were well received by the Premier, who will be following them up.
