The Port Pirie Regional Art Gallery have closed its doors for four months to install a new air-conditioning system.
The installation will reinstate the venue to being ‘A Class’, which means it will be able to host world class exhibitions.
The Port Pirie Regional Art Gallery will be one of only two SA galleries outside of Adelaide to hold the ‘A Class’ status.
The Shark Cage VR experience will also be closed during the works; however, the Shakka the Shark exhibition will remain open.
Gallery and Cultural Arts Coordinator Ursula Halpin said its beneficial to register for the Art Gallery’s mailing list which will give you updates on the 2020 program launch.
