Operation Fatal Distraction wraps up today after a week that lead to heat being put on the police rather than the public.
The week long campaign was put in place to curb motorists engaging in distracting behaviours like using their phone.
However, it was overshadowed by controversy surrounding a SAPOL Manager in Whyalla.
The staff member offered an incentive to officers, giving a gift card to the person that handed out the most fines during the state-wide campaign.
The unnamed manager reportedly bought the gift card with their own money and is now at the centre of a formal review.
