Snowtown serial killer Robert Joe Wagner’s appeal to have non-parole period set has been rejected.
The 48-year-old is currently serving 10 consecutive life sentences for the infamous bodies in the barrels murders in the 1990’s.
He lodged an application earlier this year to have a non-parole period set which was dismissed by Justice Greg Parker.
Wagner reportedly wanted to have his non-parole period finalised so he could set a goal to work towards while serving time in jail.
He was arrested in May 1999, after detectives discovered eight bodies hidden in six barrels in a disused bank at Snowtown in the Mid North.
