Easter Road Toll Climbs

Police_Line_Crime_Scene_2498847226.jpgThree people have died over the Easter Long Weekend, bringing the state’s road toll to 39.

Just after 1am on Friday two B-Doubles trucks collided on the Augusta Highway at Miranda.

Sadly, both drivers a 31-year-old man from the Port Augusta area and a 35-year-old man from Campbelltown both died at the scene.

At 7.25am on Saturday and emergency services received reports that a car had rolled on the Copper Coast Highway about 4km east of Kadina.

The driver and sole occupant, a 47-year-old Yorke Peninsula woman, sadly died at the scene.

The road toll sat at 22 this time last year.
