One of the Yorke Peninsula’s cuddliest attraction could be on the move.
The famous teddy bear fence along the Copper Coast Highway may be shifted after the Copper Coast Council proposed to move the bears to the Copper Coast Visitor Information Bay in Paskeville.
Over 1 thousand bears currently occupy the fence and the council proposes moving them to a three-metre high fence in Paskeville.
YP residents have raised concerns about the move with the community allegedly not consulted and many residents concerned about having it in front of their houses.
A petition has collected almost 80 signatures from people opposing the shift of the bears to the Copper Coast Visitor Information Bay in Paskeville.
