The Clare Valley is at the centre of a brand new $3 million dollar wine tourism campaign, dipping into the international market to attract visitors.
The International Visitation Campaign is focusing on the six wine regions in South Australia.
Premier Stephen Marshall says the states world-famous wine regions are important to the state’s economy and the campaign will allow them to continue to grow and create jobs for the state.
The campaign will focus on innovative ways to attract international visitors, including a sommelier exchange, multi-lingual websites, wine trails, virtual reality and online marketing.
The Clare Valley currently contributes $93 million to the December 2017 South Australian expenditure of $6.6 billion.
