The Regional Council of Goyder has been successful in securing funding from the Commonwealth Government Drought Communities Programme.
The council was one of 17 recognised across Australia and awarded over $600,000.
The Eudunda Sports and Community Hub development will see new facilities that will provide change room and room facilities for the community.
The Robertstown court upgrades will include two new netball courts, three new tennis courts and a basketball court installed.
And a unique public recreational space will be created in Duncan Park at Farrell Flat with new toilet facilities and the creation of a walking trail and exercise equipment.
The chosen projects were identified as priorities for the council area and Mayor Peter Mattey sees the projects providing pivotal community changing outcomes.
All three projects are due for completion by the 30th June.
