A man will face court after being caught drink driving and speeding twice in the Far North.
At around 5:40pm on Saturday police detected a vehicle travelling 141km/h in a 110km/h zone, he also allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.111.
The 46 year old Adelaide man was reported for drink driving and driving unlicensed and issued an instant loss of licence for six months.
Later that evening police stopped the same driver near Woomera, he was arrested and charged with drink driving and driving disqualified and issued a second instant loss of licence.
His car was impounded and defected and he was bailed to appear in court at a later date.
SA Police are still urging people to stay safe on the roads despite last year’s road toll of 80 being the lowest ever recorded since 1970.
