The Crystal Brook Football Club is looking to undergo a $1.5 million facelift to accommodate for the influx of women taking to the field next year.
A major component to the project will be the brand new $500,000 female changerooms.
There will be quarters for both home and visiting teams with separate shower cubicles in keeping with privacy requirements for women competitors.
The ambitious project at the oval will also include new lights costing more than $150,000, improved irrigation, sealing of roads and areas around the clubrooms and oval and picket fencing around the oval.
The club is looking at state funding options for the project with the number of women’s teams set to double in the new year.
