$34 million dollars will be delivered to projects in the Grey electorate in a move to enable natural resource management groups to deliver real environmental outcomes.
Organisations including the Northern Yorke Natural Resource Management Board have received a significant boost under the Government’s $450 million Regional Land Partnerships program.
The Southern Australian Arid Lands NRM will receive more than $10 million to tackle soil erosion and support the vulnerable yellow-footed rock wallaby populations.
Other projects will focus on recovering vulnerable ecological communities, protecting threatened species addressing soil issues
Member for Grey Rowan Ramsey says it is important to address issues at a local level which threaten native species and assist farmers to adapt to climate change.
